Big Brothers Big Sisters Seeking Bigs of the Year Nominations

Each year, Big Brothers Big Sisters (Bigs) honors two outstanding Bigs, a Big Brother and a Big Sister. These Mentors serve as ambassadors, demonstrating the impact mentoring relationships have on children and their future success.

Bigs is currently seeking community members in Antrim, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse and Kalkaska counties to nominate a Big Brother or Big Sister by November 15. All nominees will be reviewed by Bigs’ CEO and appointed Committee Members and the winners will be publicly announced at the Bigs Social in Traverse City on January 19, 2023, at MiddleCoast Brewing Company – save the date, all are welcome to attend!

Nominees must be in a current, active match with a Little Brother or Littles Sister in the Bigs’ program and exemplify characteristics including demonstrating a significant impact on the life of their Little, being highly engaged as an advocate for Bigs’ Mission, and have helped to empower their Little’s potential in an identifiable way to be considered for the honor.
